Education Paraprofessional

The MASTERS Program High School (TMP) in Santa Fe, NM, is seeking a Education Paraprofessional to support students with disabilities in accessing instruction, participating in the school community, and progressing toward the goals and services outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Working under the direction and supervision of licensed educational personnel, the Special Education Paraprofessional provides academic, behavioral, social-emotional, organizational, and functional support to individual students and small groups.

This role works collaboratively with special education teachers, general education teachers, related-service providers, and school leadership to promote student independence, inclusion, safety, and success throughout the school day.

At TMP, the Special Education Paraprofessional also supports students in accessing the school's early-college experience, including TMP coursework, Advisory, Service Learning, career-connected learning, and other school activities appropriate to each student's IEP and individual needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all current New Mexico Public Education Department requirements for Educational Assistant licensure and maintain appropriate licensure throughout employment.
• Complete required background checks and other employment requirements.
