We are seeking a self-employed Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers, maintaining excellent communication throughout the process. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations within designated areas
• Plan efficient routes to optimise delivery times and fuel consumption
• Load and unload items, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring items are secure during transit
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain signatures upon receipt of goods
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery times or any unforeseen delays
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety regulations at all times
• Ensure all deliveries are completed within scheduled timeframes

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, with valid driving credentials
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when required
• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding logistics and inventory handling
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
