Parcel Driver - LR

Get to know the Role:

Border Express currently has an exciting opportunity for a casual Parcel Delivery Driver to join our busy team at our Darwin branch.

Benefits:

• Casual rates
• Weekly pay cycle
• 7.00AM starts - must be available to work MONDAY to FRIDAY
• Work close to home

Duties:

• Pick ups and multi-drop deliveries to customers
• Maintain runsheets and PDA during the day
• Manual handling
• Ensure load is compliant
• Aid in loading and strapping the vehicle where required
• Tailgate, pallet breakdown and hand unloads may be required

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum LR Licence required
• Must be fit and able to perform repetitive manual handling tasks
• Ability to provide a up to date driving record
• Great local knowledge of Darwin and surrounding areas
• Basic awareness of Dangerous Goods handling and safety requirements
• Willingness to complete a police check and a pre-employment medical that includes a drug and alcohol test
• Minimum 1-2 years commercial driving experience required
