Job Title: Parent Mentor (Part-Time)

Reports To: Program Director

Location: Mercer County, NJ

Position Summary:

The Parent Mentor provides strength-based mentoring to parents and caregivers to strengthen parenting skills, improve family relationships, and connect families with community resources. Services are provided in home and community settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one parent mentoring.
• Support positive parenting, communication, and problem-solving.
• Connect families with community resources and services.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with care managers and service providers.
• Attend required supervision and training.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in a human services field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with children and families.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Requirements
• Successful completion of all required background checks.
• Ability to work flexible part-time hours, including evenings as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
