Park Attendant – Park & Guest Experience

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and safety-conscious Park Attendant to operate attractions at Hatta Outdoor and help deliver a safe, welcoming, and memorable experience for every guest.

You will prepare attractions for daily operation, explain participation requirements, assist guests with equipment, and monitor activities throughout your shift. This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys working outdoors, interacting with people, and maintaining high standards of safety and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate assigned attractions in line with approved procedures, training, and authorisation.
• Complete opening, operational, and closing checks, recording results and reporting defects or concerns before use.
• Welcome guests and clearly explain attraction rules, safety instructions, and participation requirements.
• Check that guests meet the applicable age, height, weight, and other attraction-specific eligibility requirements.
• Assist guests with entering, using, and exiting attractions safely.
• Fit and check safety equipment, where required, in accordance with training and operating procedures.
• Monitor guests throughout activities and respond promptly to unsafe behaviour or signs of difficulty.
• Manage queues and guest flow while maintaining attraction capacity limits and safe operating intervals.
• Monitor weather and surrounding conditions, following procedures for pausing or closing attractions when required.
• Stop operations when an unsafe condition is identified, secure the attraction, and notify the Team Leader.
• Keep attraction areas and equipment clean, tidy, and ready for use.
• Report incidents, near misses, equipment faults, and guest concerns promptly and maintain accurate records.
• Support emergency responses within the scope of training and established procedures.
• Work closely with colleagues and other departments to support smooth operations and a positive guest experience.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in outdoor recreation, attractions, leisure, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing role is an advantage.
• A strong commitment to safety and the ability to follow procedures consistently.
• Clear communication skills and confidence delivering instructions to individuals and groups.
• A friendly, patient, and professional approach to guest service.
• Good observation skills and the ability to remain attentive during repetitive tasks and busy periods.
• Ability to stay calm, respond appropriately to operational concerns, and seek support when needed.
• Willingness to complete required attraction-specific training and competency assessments.
• Relevant first-aid or outdoor activity qualifications are an advantage.

Working Requirements

• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, following applicable safety procedures.
• Ability to carry out the essential duties of an active role, including standing, walking, and handling attraction equipment, with reasonable adjustments where required.
• Successful completion of required training and authorisation before operating attractions independently.

Pay: From AED1,800.00 per month
