Job Summary

Char Bar is seeking a dependable Park Cashier to assist guests with parking-related payments and provide friendly service during busy restaurant and bar hours. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling transactions, answering guest questions, and working efficiently in a late-night environment.

Responsibilities

• Process parking payments accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, cards, and other approved payment methods.
• Provide receipts and assist guests with basic parking questions.
• Maintain an organized and secure cashier station.
• Monitor parking activity and communicate issues to management.
• Provide courteous customer service to arriving and departing guests.
• Maintain accurate cash-handling procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing cashier duties.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow all workplace safety and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous cashier, parking, hospitality, or customer-service experience is preferred.
• Strong basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Friendly and professional communication style.
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently.
• Ability to remain attentive during busy periods.
• Comfortable working evening and late-night shifts.
• Flexible availability for weekends and holidays.

About The Company

Char Bar is a long-running Columbus bar located at 439 N High Street in the Short North area. The establishment offers a casual bar-and-grill environment and operates primarily during afternoon, evening, and late-night hours.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
