Parking Attendant

Job Summary

Join our team as a Parking Attendant and become the friendly face that ensures smooth, safe, and efficient parking operations. In this energetic role, you will manage parking lot monitoring, assist customers with parking needs, and handle cash transactions with precision. Your proactive approach will help create a positive experience for visitors while maintaining the safety and organization of the parking area. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop customer service skills, gain outdoor work experience, and be an essential part of our vibrant community. There are 2 different positions available, one for graveyard shift that is 30+ hrs a week and a morning shift that is 20-24hrs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor parking lots continuously to uphold safety standards and prevent unauthorized access or vandalism.
• Assist customers with parking inquiries, directions, and support in a courteous and professional manner.
• Process cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and customers to resolve conflicts or address concerns promptly.

Experience

• Previous experience in outdoor work environments or parking management is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers and team members.
• Basic math skills for cashiering, retail math, and numeracy tasks related to cash handling and transaction processing.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base more effectively.
• Demonstrated conflict management skills to handle challenging situations professionally.
• Valid driving license with experience operating standard passenger vehicles is preferred but not required.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
