What they need

What to Expect

The Parking Supervisor is an essential part of Tesla's GFNV Transportation Team, which falls under the umbrella of Gigafactory Workforce. Employees working in this role are supporting the drive towards completing Tesla's mission—to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy. As a Parking Supervisor, you will be working under the guidance of the Workplace Transportation Manager with a key focus on parking enforcement operations across Giga Nevada. You will oversee the existing parking enforcement team, establish standard operating procedures, and own the operational systems that keep lots, signage, placards, and towing running to Tesla standard. This is a salaried position that may require working outside in extreme environments, working at heights, and prolonged periods of repetitious duties including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee the existing parking enforcement team and lead daily parking operations across Giga Nevada, including lot assignments, construction impacts, traffic flow, and peak-period demand
  • Establish, document, and hold the team to parking standard operating procedures, including lot inspections, operational records, and Tesla quality requirements
  • Own parking signage inventory control and the related deployment of field assets so markings, wayfinding, and lot controls stay accurate as site conditions change
  • Administer placard issuance and oversight, including targeted campaigns, and execute change management to sunset placards in a designated year and redeploy the successor program
  • Coordinate with the Transportation customer service liaison to address parking complaints and keep employee communication consistent
  • Partner with the Workplace Transportation Manager to finalize a towing vendor retainer, then oversee vendor performance, tow execution, and related documentation
  • Manage time and tasks effectively with a sense of urgency, provide an exceptional customer experience to all stakeholders, both internal and external, and perform other job tasks and projects as assigned

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in parking operations, transportation, or related workplace operations, with supervisory or lead experience highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to write and enforce SOPs and to control inventory and field assets
  • Experience planning and executing operational change, including program sunsets, redeployments, or site-wide campaigns
  • Vendor-management experience, including performance oversight and contract or retainer administration
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box independently
  • Time management and ability to follow through on multiple assignments simultaneously Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Benefits

Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire:

  • Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction
  • Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits
  • Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution
