Tenure: Temporary / Parental Leave Backfill 12-month contract

Location: Rushworth Depot

Remuneration: $69,288.44 to $70,624.41 + superannuation & leave loading

About the Role
The Parks Maintenance Employee responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Undertake a variety of horticultural and maintenance activities, including mowing, planting, pruning, irrigation, and facility upkeep.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a safe working environment and comply with relevant codes of practice, Council Policies and documented procedures.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience in Horticulture, landscape maintenance and/or related disciplines.

• Demonstrated skills in the operation of a range of plant and equipment used in Parks and Gardens activities.

• A valid Driver’s Licence.

• A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check.

• Satisfactory National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

• Successful completion of a pre-employment medical assessment.
