About the Opportunity

We're seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Operations Coordinator to support warehouse and supply chain operations at a large distribution center in Mattoon, IL. This position combines warehouse coordination, inventory support, problem-solving, reporting, and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Determine packaging and container solutions for service parts moving through the distribution network
• Support packaging projects focused on safety, quality, and productivity improvements
• Coordinate resolution of inventory, shipping, and parts-related issues with vendors, dealers, factories, and distribution teams
• Perform data entry, reporting, document preparation, and email communication
• Analyze operational data and identify opportunities for improvement
• Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and internal systems
• Work cross-functionally to resolve issues and support daily operations
• Assist with general warehouse and distribution support activities

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or operations environment
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Ability to review and work with operational data

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Inventory control or materials coordination experience
• Administrative support experience
• Knowledge of process improvement and standard work procedures
• Supply chain or logistics experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable standing and walking for approximately 70% of the workday
• Ability to work in a high-traffic warehouse environment
• Ability to work a full-time schedule

Compensation & Benefits

• $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
• 2-year contract assignment with potential for extension
