What they need
POSITION OVERVIEW
Altitude Parts is seeking a motivated Part Sales Associate to support the continued growth of our aircraft parts sales operation. This position is responsible for developing customer relationships, responding to parts inquiries, preparing quotes, following up on opportunities, and actively selling aircraft components from Altitude Parts’ inventory.
The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, comfortable with outbound sales, and motivated by building relationships and closing business. Aviation or aircraft parts experience is preferred, but strong sales experience and the ability to learn the industry quickly will also be considered.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Respond to incoming aircraft parts inquiries and RFQs in a timely manner.
Prepare and send accurate customer quotes using available inventory, pricing, and part information.
Proactively follow up on open quotes and sales opportunities to drive transactions to completion.
Conduct daily outbound sales outreach to existing, inactive, and prospective customers.
Develop and maintain relationships with aircraft operators, maintenance facilities, repair stations, brokers, and other aviation industry customers.
Identify opportunities to reactivate previous customers and grow existing accounts.
Actively market available aircraft parts, components, engines, APUs, landing gear, and other inventory.
Work with the warehouse and operations teams to confirm inventory availability, condition, documentation, and shipping requirements.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams when additional information, repair status, certification, or documentation is required to complete a sale.
Maintain accurate customer, quote, opportunity, and follow-up information within the company’s CRM and sales systems.
Monitor open opportunities and maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the sales process.
Assist with targeted sales campaigns for newly acquired inventory and aircraft being added to inventory.
Stay familiar with available inventory and identify parts or assets that should receive additional sales attention.
Support customer service matters, including warranty replacement coordination and post-sale follow-up.
Work closely with leadership to achieve individual and company sales goals.
Provide regular updates on sales activity, opportunities, customer feedback, and market demand.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous sales, customer service, or business development experience preferred.
Aviation, aircraft parts, MRO, or aftermarket sales experience is strongly preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable making outbound calls and developing new customer relationships.
Ability to manage multiple quotes, customers, and follow-ups simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the sales, warehouse, and operations teams.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and growth-focused environment.
Experience with CRM, inventory management, or aviation parts platforms is a plus.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Success in this role means consistently generating sales activity, responding quickly to customers, maintaining strong follow-up, developing new and existing customer relationships, and helping Altitude Parts turn its available inventory into revenue.
The Part Sales Associate is expected to take ownership of their sales pipeline and actively look for opportunities rather than relying solely on inbound inquiries.
SCHEDULE & FLEXIBILITY
This is a full-time position based in Ocoee, Florida. Aircraft parts sales is a time-sensitive business, and the Part Sales Associate is expected to be flexible with their schedule to support customers and close transactions.
AOG and urgent customer requests can come in at any hour; evening, early morning, and weekend availability is expected to respond quickly and keep transactions moving.
Customers, vendors, and repair stations operate across multiple time zones, both domestically and internationally, so some communication will fall outside of standard business hours.
After-hours and weekend coverage may be shared among the sales team, including rotating availability as the team grows.
Occasional extended hours may be required to support inventory events, sales campaigns, trade shows, and newly acquired inventory.
