PART SALES

Gilchrist Automotive is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Business Development Manager to support and grow our customer base in the Houston area. This role is ideal for a self-starter who excels at building relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers within an assigned territory.
• Generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, and promoting company sales and marketing programs.
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers and the dealership.
• Partner with dealership leadership to support sales initiatives and customer growth strategies.
• Maintain accurate activity records and performance reports.
• Provide customer training on General Motors Parts programs.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current on products, systems, and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive sales, marketing, or business development.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other standard business applications.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Bilingual skills are highly preferred.
