Part Time 7a-3p Program Support Specialist (Weekends)

Principal (Essential) Duties

• Maintain a therapeutic environment by observing and interacting with clients and guests and by providing appropriate direct services.

• Provide life skills guidance and program support for clients and guests, including:

• Assist with individual Service Goal Plans

• Monitor chore assignments

• Dispense prescription medications and assist with drug screenings

• Pack and organize personal belongings

• Complete required reports and documentation, including:

• Daily shift reports

• Maintenance requests

• Medication room refrigerator temperature logs

• Assist with food preparation and meal delivery, following required food-handling procedures.

• Monitor the facility and the behavior of clients and guests for safety and respond to emergency situations and following protocols for safety and cleanliness of all program areas, including:

• Kitchen and dining room

• Bed linens

• No smoking policy in facility and grounds

• Empty trash

• Personal living areas for clients and guests

Secondary Duties

Perform administrative responsibilities such as greeting clients, guests and visitors and answering phones, providing assistance and taking accurate messages.
