Part-Time Accounts Assistant

Hourly Rate: HK$80 / hour (Paid lunch hour included)

Working Days: 2–3 days per week

Location: Fo Tan

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with routine bookkeeping and financial record updates.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team.
• Prepare and verify accurate financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement), compiling audit-ready reports for submission to external accounting firms
• Manage the full month-end/year-end closing process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments
• Calculate and process Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) contributions, ensuring accurate and timely submission of both employer and employee contributions
• Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance with statutory filing and tax requirements
• Analyse financial data and prepare management reports, budgets, and variance analysis for senior leadership

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant bookkeeping/accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, basic data analysis).
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and reliable with numbers.
• Good sense of responsibility and time management.
