Part-Time Afternoon Cleaner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented school cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service while adhering to health and safety standards.

This role working Monday to Friday 3.30pm until 6.00pm.

• 12.5 hours per week
• 39 weeks term time inclusive of PD Days which the cleaning staff are required to attend work.
• 4 weeks deep cleaning (Usually, Easter 1 week, Summer 2 weeks, 1 week allocated to a half term as agreed with the school).
• 43 weeks per annum total.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks in designated areas, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
• Ensure all surfaces are sanitised regularly, vacuumed, and mopped.
• Dispose of waste in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any specific cleaning requests or concerns.
• Drive to various locations as required to perform cleaning duties.
• Maintain an organised inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Experience

• Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred; training will be provided.
• A customer service-oriented mindset is essential for ensuring client satisfaction.
• A valid driving licence is advantageous due to the location.

4 weekly pay, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro-rota)

Uniform and full training is given.

£13.50 per hour

A DBS will be required.
