PART-TIME ARCHERY COACH

Boltz Archery Academy

Job Responsibilities :

1. Conduct Training Sessions

Conduct archery training sessions according to the modules and syllabus of Boltz Archery Academy.

Teach basic archery skills such as stance, nocking, drawing, anchoring, aiming, release and follow-through.

Ensure training sessions are suitable for the age and skill level of each student.

2. Student Development

Help improve students’ archery skills, fitness, discipline and confidence.

Identify the strengths and areas for improvement of each student.

Prepare students for school competitions such as MSSD and other relevant archery tournaments.

Monitor and support students in improving their technique, consistency and overall performance.

3. Safety & Class Management

Ensure the safety of all students throughout training sessions.

Ensure archery equipment is used correctly and safely.

Ensure the training area is safe and properly organised before, during and after each session.

Manage student discipline and ensure training sessions are conducted in an organised manner.

4. Attendance & Student Progress

Record student attendance for each training session.

Provide brief feedback on student progress when required.

Monitor students’ technical development and performance.

Report any student-related issues to the Archery Coordinator.

5. Support Academy Programmes

Support Boltz programmes such as Trial Classes, Grand Openings, Inter-Branch Challenges, Tournaments and other academy activities when required.

Assist in the selection of archers for training programmes or competition teams.

Support students in preparation for competitions and other academy activities.

6. Professional Conduct

Arrive at least 15 minutes before the training session.

Dress appropriately according to the Boltz Archery Academy dress code.

Maintain professional communication and relationships with students, parents and management.

Maintain the image and reputation of Boltz Archery Academy.

Requirements

Basic knowledge and understanding of archery.

Previous experience as an archer or archery coach is an advantage.

Enjoy working with children and teenagers.

Responsible, punctual and able to communicate effectively.

Available to work on weekends.

Willing to attend training or coach development programmes provided by Boltz Archery Academy.
