Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, and craft beers with precision and flair.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings to enhance their experience.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and track beverage usage to ensure smooth service during busy hours.
• Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and balance registers at the end of each shift with basic math skills.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for seamless transaction processing.
• Proven experience in bartending, mixology, or related food service roles within the hospitality industry.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create welcoming atmospheres for diverse guests.
• Expertise in beverage recipe development, cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, and spirits experience.
• Familiarity with fine dining or restaurant environments, including banquet or catering experience.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
• Basic math proficiency for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food industry operations.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and bar management practices.
