Part Time BGL Specialist

About the role

This is a genuinely flexible role — work your own hours from home, with the workload built around SMSF transaction processing and audit preparation. You'll take ownership of a defined set of funds and be trusted to manage your own time to get the work done.

Key responsibilities

• Entering and reconciling transactions in BGL (Simple Fund 360 / BGL360)
• Preparing and collating SMSF files ready for submission to auditors
• Ensuring accuracy and completeness of records prior to audit review
• Liaising with our team on queries, discrepancies or missing information
• Maintaining organised, audit-ready documentation for each fund

About you

• Proven hands-on experience with BGL (Simple Fund 360)
• Solid understanding of SMSF compliance, transaction processing and year-end audit requirements
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule reliably
• A reliable home setup (internet, software access) to work remotely
• Prior experience in a public practice or SMSF administration environment highly regarded
