Part-Time Bilingual Receptionist

We're looking for a friendly, dependable receptionist who communicates clearly, connects well with clients, and cares about the comfort of the pets we serve.

This is a hands-on role in an active grooming salon. Along with managing the front desk, you'll help with laundry, cleaning crates, picking up pet accidents, and keeping the salon organized. It can be busy and messy, but helping pets feel comfortable and clients feel cared for makes the work rewarding.

What you'll do:

• Welcome clients and check pets in and out.

• Update pet notes and communicate grooming requests, special instructions, and scheduling changes to groomers.

• Keep the appointment calendar organized and contact clients who canceled to offer rescheduling.

• Pay attention to pets' comfort and promptly communicate concerns to the grooming team.

• Clean and organize reception, crates, and shared areas, including cleaning up pet accidents.

• Wash, dry, and organize towels.

• Organize supplies and note items that need to be ordered, such as shampoo and bandanas.

• Help keep daily operations running smoothly through clear communication and teamwork.

What we're looking for:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, client-centered attitude.

• Reliable, organized, and attentive to details.

• Comfortable around dogs and cats and willing to handle the cleaning that comes with working with animals.

• Able to stay calm, prioritize tasks, and communicate during busy periods.

• Pet ownership or experience caring for animals is a plus.

Schedule and pay:

• Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: approximately 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Friday: approximately 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• Initial training: Friday, Saturday, and Monday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• $18.45 per hour during training; $19 per hour after training.
