Part-time Bookkeeper

We are looking for a detail-oriented Part-time Bookkeeper to join a growing team in a contract-to-permanent role. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable balancing day-to-day accounting activities, managing records across multiple business entities, and providing a detail-oriented approach when interacting with customers and colleagues. The position offers a schedule in a small office environment and requires strong organization, accuracy, and confidence using QuickBooks Online.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records for multiple business entities, ensuring transactions are entered correctly and kept up to date.

• Process billing and accounts payable activities while supporting the overall flow of daily accounting operations.

• Organize sales-related financial information and keep supporting documentation orderly and accessible.

• Reconcile routine account activity and review records for completeness, consistency, and accuracy.

• Coordinate with office staff and leadership to address bookkeeping questions and provide timely financial updates.

• Manage competing priorities throughout the day, shifting between accounting tasks and customer-facing support as needed.

• Use QuickBooks Online to record transactions, track financial activity, and produce standard bookkeeping reports.

• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online in a bookkeeping or accounting support role.

• Ability to manage financial records for more than one entity while maintaining strong attention to detail.

• Experience handling billing, invoicing, or accounts payable responsibilities.

• Strong multitasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced office setting.

• Detail-oriented and friendly communication skills, including comfort with customer service interactions.

• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a small on-site team.

• Availability to work a permanent schedule, typically 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
