Part-Time Bookkeeper

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a client in the Healthcare space to fill a Part-Time Bookkeeper position on an ongoing contract basis. The role has potential to evolve into a permanent (but still Part-Time) role down the line. This office is in Midtown, Manhattan and would require some in-person office time with a total schedule of 20-25 hours per week. Please take a look at the details below.

Responsibilities:

• Managing Accounts Payable including invoice matching, entry, outbound payments, and vendor management
• Managing Accounts Receivable and reporting
• Preparing basis transactional journal entries
• Reconciling both credit and bank statements
• Maintain general ledger accounts
• Pulling financial reports from QuickBooks at month-end
• Help with additional bookkeeping and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience as a general Bookkeeper or Accountant
• Previous experience with QuickBooks Online highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Schedule:

• Part-time, approximately 20–25 hours per week.
• Days and hours can be broken up based on the candidate's preference, but the team would require part of the hours to be in person in their office

Compensation & Benefits:

• $28 - 34 per hour
• Part-Time role, not eligible for benefits at this time
