Part-Time Bookkeeper

Job Overview

Habibian LLC handles the bookkeeping for a group of related businesses in Las Vegas, including restaurants, convenience stores and office rental properties. We’re looking for a dependable part-time bookkeeper to join our accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Enter and categorize transactions in QuickBooks Online, including bank and credit card feeds
• Reconcile bank, credit card and clearing accounts each month
• Process vendor bills and payments (A/P) and track receivables (A/R)
• Prepare and verify sales tax filings
• Help with month-end close
• Keep organized records and flag discrepancies for review
• Perform daily and weekly sales audits, comparing POS reports to cash counts and deposits
• Review daily POS sales and cash closeouts, investigate variances, and record sales entries in QuickBooks

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks
• Solid understanding of debits, credits and account reconciliations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Fast learner who picks up new systems and processes quickly
• Able to work independently, manage your own workload and meet deadlines
• Comfortable with Excel (sorting, formulas, basic lookups)
• Clear, professional communication

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
