Part-Time Brewer

Obed & Isaac’s Microbrewery & Eatery | Peoria, IL

We’re looking for an experienced, dependable brewer to manage production at our 15 BBL on-site microbrewery.

Hours: Approximately 20–25 hours per week, depending on production needs. Flexible scheduling—mornings, afternoons, or evenings—with an emphasis on producing quality, consistent beer and meeting production needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage brewing, cellar work, kegging, and production planning.
• Maintain beer quality and consistency throughout the brewing process.
• Keep the brewery and equipment clean, safe, and properly maintained.
• Monitor ingredients and inventory, maintain production records, and assist with required reporting.
• Collaborate with our team on beer offerings and new recipes.

Qualifications

• At least two years of professional experience as an assistant or head brewer.
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Able to perform the physical work of brewing, including lifting up to 60 pounds and working in hot, cold, and wet conditions.
