Part-Time Building Manager

Overview

Harvey Browne Presbyterian Church is looking for a reliable, hands-on, and organized part-time building manger. The manager oversees day-to-day operations and maintenance at the church, supervising and working alongside a full-time sexton to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and smooth functions of our facilities and grounds. Key Responsabilities

• Facility Maintenance: Perform minor routine repairs and coordinate with outside contractors for major services.
• Upkeep: Supervise the sexton and manage inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• Safety & Security: Monitor building security systems, lock/unlock facilities as scheduled, and address potential safety hazards.
• Event Support: Coordinate room setups and teardowns for meetings/events.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management and general maintenance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform physical labor
• Training in the use of the Simplex Fire suppression system 4100, and all OSHA inspections and reports and upkeep of HVAC
• High level of integrity, dependability, and a respectful demeanor when interacting with church members, visitors, and staff.

Pay: $30,000.00 per year
