Part-Time CD Data Conversion Assistant

Location : Midvalley, Kuala Lumpur (On-site)

Working Hour : Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm (8 hours per day)

Daily Rate : RM150 / day

About The Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time CD Data Conversion Assistant to support the conversion and organisation of data from CDs into digital files.

This is a hands-on and repetitive task-based role that requires patience, accuracy, and the ability to follow instructions carefully. The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently and handling a large volume of files while maintaining consistent quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert and transfer data from CDs into the required digital format.
• Check CDs for readable and usable content before processing.
• Ensure converted files are playable, accessible, and complete.
• Follow the required file naming conventions and folder structure.
• Organise and store converted files in the designated location.
• Reprocess files that are corrupted, incomplete, incorrectly named, or incorrectly organised.
• Maintain accurate daily records of CDs processed and completed.
• Report empty, unreadable, unconvertible CDs and any technical issues.
• Handle all company data and files with strict confidentiality.
• Perform other related data processing tasks as assigned.

Daily KPI & Incentive

• Standard KPI: 80 valid CDs per day.
• Daily rate: RM150.
• Part-timers may leave early once the daily KPI is completed and all files have passed the required basic quality checks.

Requirements

• Able to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
• Good attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility.
• Comfortable performing repetitive and structured tasks.
• Basic computer skills, including file management, folders, and file formats.
• Able to identify basic file or technical issues.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Willing to work towards daily productivity targets.
• Previous experience in data entry, document processing, digitisation, administrative work, or similar roles is an advantage but not required.

Important Due to the nature of the work, confidentiality is strictly required . All CD contents and converted files must remain within the designated work environment and must not be copied, shared, uploaded to personal accounts, or transferred to unauthorised devices.
