PART TIME CDL DRIVER WANTED

Part-Time CDL Class A Driver — $250 Per Run

We are hiring a dependable, safety-focused part-time CDL Class A driver to make a regular route from Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, to Greenville, South Carolina.

This position normally requires one or two runs per week. Each run is approximately a 500-mile round trip and pays $250 per completed run.

Route and Responsibilities

• Depart from Fort Oglethorpe, GA
• Travel to Greenville, SC
• Pick up a fully loaded trailer and return with it
• Drop off a fully loaded trailer
• Primarily drop-and-hook work
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Confirm trailer connections, load security, and paperwork
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
• Report equipment problems, delays, or safety concerns promptly
• Maintain professional communication with dispatch and pickup personnel

Equipment

• Newer Penske semi-trucks and trailers
• Equipment is professionally maintained
• No personal truck is required

Schedule

• Part-time
• Approximately one or two runs per week
• Route begins and ends in Fort Oglethorpe, GA
• Driver must be dependable and available on the agreed-upon route days

Compensation

• $250 per completed round trip
• Approximately 500 miles per run
• Consistent work for the right driver

Driver Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Current DOT medical certificate
• Clean and safe motor vehicle record
• No recent serious traffic violations, reckless-driving convictions, or preventable accidents
• Must meet all applicable DOT driver-qualification requirements
• Must be able to pass any required background check, motor vehicle record review, and drug or alcohol screening
• Experience operating a tractor-trailer safely
• Ability to complete vehicle inspections and identify basic safety concerns
• Must follow federal hours-of-service regulations
• Dependable, punctual, professional, and able to work independently
• Must keep the truck cab clean and treat company equipment responsibly
