Role Description The Store Associate is a part-time, on-site role based at The UPS Store #7448 in Folsom, PA. This role involves assisting customers with shipping, packaging, printing, and mailbox services, while providing accurate information on products, pricing, and store policies. Day-to-day tasks include processing transactions at the register, preparing shipments, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. The Store Associate helps promote store services, supports basic store operations, and follows established procedures for safety, security, and quality. The position requires consistent, courteous interaction with customers and collaboration with team members to ensure smooth store operations.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service and Customer Loyalty skills, with a focus on creating positive, repeat customer experiences.
• Clear and professional Communication skills for in-person, phone, and written interactions.
• Experience or aptitude in Retail Sales, including suggesting appropriate products and services.
• Basic understanding of Store Management principles, such as following procedures, supporting opening/closing tasks, and maintaining store standards.
• Ability to learn and use point-of-sale systems, shipping platforms, and printing equipment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when handling transactions, labels, and customer orders.
• Reliability in attendance and punctuality, with the ability to stand, lift, and move packages as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior retail or service experience is beneficial but not required.

Pay: Up to $14.00 per hour
