Part Time Certified Reading Teacher/Interventionist

Crowder Elementary School is seeking a Part-Time Certified Reading Teacher / Interventionist for the 2026–2027 school year to provide evidence-based literacy interventions grounded in the Science of Reading.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver small-group and individual reading interventions aligned with Science of Reading principles.
• Administer diagnostic assessments and monitor student progress to drive instruction.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to align literacy support.
• Maintain a positive, engaging learning environment that builds reading confidence.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Certifications:
• Valid State Teaching Certificate (Reading/Literacy or Elementary endorsement).
• Certification or micro-credentialing in the Science of Reading (e.g., LETRS, Orton-Gillingham, or state-approved training) required.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of structured literacy components and data-driven instruction.
