We are seeking a motivated and reliable Chef/Cook to join the kitchen team at our busy and well-established village pub. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about preparing high-quality food and enjoys working in a friendly, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking menu items to a consistently high standard
• Maintaining food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness standards
• Assisting with stock control and food storage procedures
• Working efficiently during busy service periods
• Supporting the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• A positive attitude and team-focused approach
• Availability to work weekends is essential
