Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.
• Handle chemical agents safely, following all safety protocols for storage, mixing, and disposal to ensure a secure environment.
• Conduct custodial tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, and sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Operate cleaning machinery and tools efficiently while adhering to safe lifting practices for heavy or bulky items.
• Maintain facilities by performing light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or minor repairs when needed.
• Follow safety procedures diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Assist with special projects like residential painting or industrial cleaning as required to support overall facility maintenance.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and chemical sprayers is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation standards is essential for maintaining a safe workspace.
• Experience with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs or painting enhances your suitability for this role.
• Strong understanding of safety protocol adherence and heavy lifting techniques ensures efficient and secure work practices.
• Customer service skills are beneficial for interacting professionally with clients or building occupants during cleaning routines.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
