• Perform thorough cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to uphold high hygiene standards.
• Use specialized equipment for floor care such as buffing machines and carpet cleaners to maintain pristine surfaces.
• Conduct janitorial duties in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring all areas are tidy and organized.
• Assist with custodial responsibilities like restocking supplies and maintaining cleaning equipment for optimal performance.
• Support facilities maintenance by addressing minor repairs or reporting issues that require professional attention.
• Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to ensure a secure environment for yourself and others.
• Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and report any irregularities or damages promptly.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Experience with industrial or commercial cleaning projects, including floor care such as buffing and stripping, is advantageous.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks and basic repair skills will help you excel in this role.
• Previous porter experience or background in custodial services can provide a strong foundation for success.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently is essential.
• Strong attention to detail combined with excellent time management skills ensures all tasks are completed thoroughly.
