Part Time Closing Classroom Assistant

Position Overview:

We are seeking a caring, creative, and dedicated Early Childhood Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, an understanding of child development, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities that support growth in social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills.
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
• Collaborate with team members to support children’s individual needs and program goals.
• Communicate regularly with families about children’s progress, experiences, and developmental milestones.
• Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Document observations and assessments to track child development and guide instruction.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (or working toward one).
• Previous experience in an early childhood classroom is preferred.
• Knowledge of child development principles and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to meet state licensing requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
