PART-TIME

We are looking for a detail-oriented Part-time Bookkeeper to join a rental and leasing services organization in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is well suited for someone who enjoys maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end activities, and contributing insight through account review and analysis. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting knowledge and can work confidently with reconciliations, journal entries, and financial systems such as Yardi.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records by preparing and posting journal entries in a timely manner.

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure reliable reporting.

• Support the month-end close process by reviewing balances, organizing documentation, and meeting reporting deadlines.

• Analyze account activity to identify trends, unusual items, and areas requiring follow-up.

• Work within Yardi to manage accounting transactions and keep financial data current and accurate.

• Collaborate with internal team members to resolve accounting questions and improve day-to-day financial accuracy.

• Strong foundation in accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.

• Experience performing account reconciliations with a high level of accuracy.

• Hands-on involvement in month-end close activities and journal entry preparation.

• Working knowledge of Yardi or similar accounting software.

• Ability to review account activity and provide basic financial analysis.

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
