Part time CNA/Caregiver

Part-Time CNA / Caregiver – Edina, MN

CivicCare Solutions LLC is seeking a dependable and compassionate CNA or experienced caregiver to provide standby assistance, homemaking support, and transportation to physical therapy appointments for a client in Edina, Minnesota.

This is a part-time position ideal for someone who enjoys one-on-one care and helping clients remain safe and independent in their home and community.

Responsibilities

Duties may include:

• Providing standby assistance with mobility and activities of daily living
• Assisting with safe walking and movement around the home
• Providing fall-prevention and safety supervision
• Transporting the client to and from scheduled physical therapy and medical appointments
• Assisting the client with safely getting in and out of the vehicle
• Accompanying the client to appointments and providing standby assistance as needed
• Providing companionship and general support
• Light housekeeping and home organization
• Laundry and changing bed linens
• Cleaning the kitchen and bathroom
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and other light household tasks
• Meal preparation and kitchen cleanup
• Grocery shopping and errands, as needed
• Observing and reporting changes or concerns to the supervisor
• Following the client's individualized service plan

This position primarily involves standby assistance, transportation, and homemaking support rather than heavy hands-on personal care.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred; experienced caregivers are also encouraged to apply
• Previous experience working with older adults or individuals needing mobility assistance preferred
• Dependable, patient, compassionate, and professional
• Comfortable providing standby assistance and safety supervision
• Comfortable transporting and accompanying a client to physical therapy and other scheduled appointments
• Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle required
• Safe driving record
• Ability to perform light housekeeping duties
• Smartphone for scheduling and communication
• Must successfully complete required background screening
• Must be able to reliably arrive for scheduled shifts

Schedule

Part-time

Hours will vary based on the client's physical therapy schedule and care needs. Additional client assignments may be available based on your availability.

Compensation & Mileage

$20.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Mileage reimbursement is provided for client transportation during scheduled shifts when using your personal vehicle.
