As a coach driver, you will be driving our coaches on a variety of local and longer-distance journeys. These can include:

• School runs and school trips
• Sports fixtures
• Private hire and day trips
• Excursions and occasional longer journeys
• Regular contracted routes

Every day can be a little different, and we will make sure you are familiar with the routes and vehicles you will be driving.

What we're looking for

• A PCV/coach driving licence (Category D)
• Driver CPC qualification
• A friendly and polite manner
• Good customer service skills
• Reliable and punctual
• A safe and responsible approach to driving
• Someone who is happy working as part of a team

Previous coach driving experience is preferred, but we are happy to speak to drivers who are newer to the industry.

What we offer

• Part-time hours to suit
• A friendly and supportive team
• Variety of work
• Local and longer-distance driving
• Modern, well-maintained coaches
• Uniform provided
• Ongoing support and training

At Newtons Coaches, we are a family-run business with over 40 years of experience, and we pride ourselves on looking after both our customers and our drivers.
