Part-Time Cook

Position: Part-Time Cook
Schedule: 11am – 7pm (part-time, days may vary)
Location: Red Cedar Lodge Senior Living

About the Role:
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Part-Time Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will prepare nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents in a welcoming senior living environment while ensuring food safety, consistency, and great presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines
• Ensure all meals are prepared safely, timely, and to quality standards
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures
• Assist with kitchen cleanup, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean work environment
• Support inventory tracking and report supply needs as needed
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet resident meal service needs

Qualifications:

• Previous cooking or food service experience preferred (not required)
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and compassionate attitude toward senior care
