Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and quality standards
• Assist in food prep activities such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients for efficient meal production
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols
• Monitor food inventory levels and notify management when supplies need replenishing
• Serve meals to customers or assist in plating dishes for service
• Follow all safety procedures during food handling, cooking, and cleaning processes
• Support team members during busy periods to ensure timely meal delivery and excellent customer service

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or similar setting is preferred
• Knowledge of kitchen safety standards and proper food handling techniques is essential
• Familiarity with meal preparation, cooking methods, and culinary practices
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and efficiency
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistent quality in every dish served
• Serving experience is a plus, demonstrating excellent customer interaction skills
• Basic understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 17.0 – 25.5 per week
