Part Time Cook

Then we are the right fit for you! We are currently looking to hire a Part Time Cook with hours ranging from 8-12 hours per week. Hours would rotate between 10 am-6 pm and 1 pm- 6 pm.

Prep and prepare assigned meals according to the menu set by Kitchen Manager. Maintain a clean work area.

1. Able to effectively communicate with others concerning food service concerns,

procedures, policies and new programs.

2. Considerable knowledge of nutritional requirements in a large volume operation.

3. Strong service orientation and communications.

4. Able to prepare meals in a timely manner unsupervised.

5. Understand/support the Resident Bill of Rights reflected in all aspects of performance, concern and caring for residents of Grace Lodge

6. Participate/support/monitor facility quality control.

7. Maintain adherence to policies and procedures in regard to quantity food service sanitation and food borne illness.

8. Prepare daily meals and prep as needed for other cooks.

9. Attend facility and dietary meetings.

10. Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.

11. Transport bagged garbage and recyclable material to dumpster area.

12. Wash and rinse miscellaneous pots, pans and small equipment.

13. Perform routine cleaning duties on large food service equipment.

14. Perform related duties as assigned.

15. Work every other weekend.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
