Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and quality standards
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients to streamline kitchen operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils
• Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe dining environment
• Support the serving team by preparing plates efficiently and accurately for timely delivery to guests
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service times

Experience

• Prior experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or similar setting is essential
• Demonstrated knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of ingredients
• Experience with meal preparation, including understanding various cooking techniques and presentation styles
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and maintaining cleanliness standards in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail in food quality and safety standards
• Serving experience is a plus, especially in roles involving direct guest interaction or plate presentation
