Part-Time Cook (every other weekend)

Valley Village is searching for a skilled, positive, and team-oriented Cook who enjoys working with seniors and takes pride in preparing high-quality meals. If you’re looking for meaningful work and want to put your cooking skills to good use, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Hours: 16 hours per 2-week pay period = two 8-hour shifts every other weekend
Schedule: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Saturday & Sunday, every other weekend

Your Role:

• Prepare and cook meals according to our menu and residents’ dietary needs
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen
• Work with kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal service

What We’re Looking For:

• Friendly, respectful, and courteous approach to interacting with residents
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Previous cooking experience in a commercial or institutional kitchen preferred (but we’ll train the right person!)
• Must be 18 years or older with reliable transportation
