Responsibilities

• Ensure all food is prepared according to safety and hygiene standards, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen
• Assist with meal preparation during busy periods to ensure timely service
• Follow recipes and portion controls to deliver quality dishes every time
• Maintain organized workstations, including proper storage of ingredients and supplies
• Support the team in serving food efficiently and courteously to guests
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures at all times

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant, bar or culinary setting
• Strong knowledge of kitchen safety practices and food handling procedures
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service
• Passion for culinary arts with a desire to learn and grow in the kitchen environment
• Prior experience with meal preparation, serving, and maintaining cleanliness in a busy kitchen
