Position Summary

Grace Recovery Services is seeking a dependable and compassionate Counselor to facilitate therapeutic groups on Saturdays and Sundays. This position is ideal for a counselor who enjoys working directly with clients in a group setting.

This position does not carry a caseload. The primary responsibility is facilitating scheduled groups and supporting clients in their recovery.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate therapeutic and recovery-focused group sessions.
• Encourage client participation in a supportive, respectful, and professional environment.
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
• Document group attendance and complete required group notes.
• Follow program policies, confidentiality requirements, and applicable HIPAA guidelines.
• Communicate relevant client or group concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Promote a safe, structured, and recovery-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must have valid ADT, CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LMSW, or LGPC
• Relevant counseling credentials or certification required by applicable Maryland regulations and program requirements.
• Experience facilitating substance use disorder or behavioral health groups preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and group facilitation skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to the Saturday and Sunday schedule.

Schedule

• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Sunday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Total: 12 hours per week

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
