Part-time Culinary Assistant

Support Regional Culinary Manager, Asia in delivering cooking demonstrations, workshops, and events at the Miele Experience Centre. Assist with food preparation, kitchen setup, inventory management, and maintaining hygiene standards to ensure smooth operations and premium customer experience.

Job Description:

• • Assist the Regional Culinary Manager, Asia in food preparation for cooking demonstrations, workshops, and customer events.
  • Prepare and organize ingredients, utensils, and kitchen equipment before each session.
  • Support the setup and cleanup of culinary events and cooking classes.
  • Present Miele products and accessories during cooking demonstrations and customer events.
  • Act as a host or co-host for cooking demonstrations, engaging customers and supporting the delivery of an exceptional brand experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the kitchen and event areas.
  • Wash and store kitchen utensils, cookware, and appliances after use.
  • Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks for ingredients and kitchen supplies.
  • Provide general operational support to the Miele Experience Centre team as required.

Job Requirements:

• • Diploma or above in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, or a related discipline.
  • Passion for cooking, food, and customer service.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, hospitality, or food-related environment is an advantage.
  • Culinary or hospitality students are welcome to apply.
  • Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Good team player with a positive attitude.
  • Able to work on weekends, public holidays, and evenings when required.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices is preferred.

Working Schedule:

• Flexible working hours based on event and class schedules.
• Approximately 2-3 days per week (subject to operational needs).
• 9 hours per day including 1 hour meal break
• Working Location: Miele Experience Centre at Causeway Bay
