Part Time Delivery Helper

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, hard working, part-time helper to assist with deliveries and pickups for our event rental business.

Must be available on Mondays, Friday’s and occasional Saturdays.

• Load and unload items using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring accurate deliveries and addressing customer inquiries professionally
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after shifts
• Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, manual handling, and weight handling in the workplace
• Keep detailed records of deliveries, including delivery times, signatures, and any issues encountered during routes
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or box trucks is advantageous
• Experience with material handling equipment is beneficial
• Strong understanding of adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude
• Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform manual handling tasks regularly
• Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation and communication
• Reliable transportation, including personal vehicle delivery options if applicable
• Must have transportation to and from our warehouse in Winter Haven, FL
• Must wear Event Works & Decor shirt and be respectful and polite to customers.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week

Work Location: In person
