Part time Dentist

About the role

Grand Plaza Dental is seeking an Associate Dentist to join our thriving dental practice in Browns Plains, QLD. This is a part-time position that offers flexibility whilst allowing you to make a meaningful impact on our patients' oral health and wellbeing. We are looking for a dentist for 1-2 days preferably from Monday- Wednesday. The days can be flexible within these days.We are looking for someone who can work independently in the practice.

Key responsibilities

1. Provide comprehensive dental examinations and diagnoses to patients of all ages
2. Perform a range of restorative and preventative dental procedures including fillings, extractions, and root canal treatments
3. Develop and discuss individualised treatment plans with patients, ensuring clear communication about options and costs
4. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements
5. Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
6. Uphold high standards of infection control and sterilisation protocols
7. Contribute to a positive patient experience by providing compassionate and professional care
8. Stay current with developments in dental practice and participate in professional development opportunities

What we're looking for

1. A current practising certificate to work as a dentist in Australia
2. Formal qualifications in Dentistry (BDS or equivalent recognised qualification)
3. Proven experience working in a dental practice environment
4. Strong clinical skills and the ability to work efficiently without compromising quality
5. Excellent communication skills with patients, colleagues and management
6. A commitment to continuing professional development and staying current with best practices
7. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team whilst managing your own patient load independently
8. Professional demeanour and a patient-centred approach to dental care
9. Experience with digital dental technology and practice management systems is advantageous
