Part-Time Direct Support Professional

This is a part-time posting for the community of Creighton at the Group Home.

• 16 hours per week, working:

Week 1: 7:00am-3:00pm (Friday) and 3:00pm-11:00pm (Saturday)

Week 2: 3:00pm-11:00pm (Sunday) and 7:00am-3:00pm (Wednesday)

• 24 hours per week, working:

Week 1 - 4pm-10pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Week 2 - 4pm-10pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday

A valid Sask. Full Class 5 or Sask. Novice 2 driver's license is not required but considered an asset.

Direct Support Professional employees build communities that value the contributions of people who experience developmental disabilities. Requirements:

• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
• A valid Sask. Full Class 5 or Sask. Novice 2 driver's license and access to reliable transportation
• Satisfactory Driver’s Abstract

Preferred:

• 3-6 Months Experience (volunteer or employment)
• Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or post-secondary education in a related field

Working Conditions:

• This location supports service users who smoke and/or vape
• May involve driving/travel within the local community with people supported as passengers
