Responsibilities

• Thoroughly wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, ensuring all areas are organized and sanitary at all times
• Assist with basic food handling tasks as needed, supporting the kitchen staff during busy service periods
• Follow proper procedures for waste disposal and recycling to promote an environmentally friendly workspace
• Support the overall cleanliness of the dining area and kitchen by helping with light cleaning duties when required
• Adhere to food safety regulations and restaurant policies to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate timely dishwashing during peak hours

Skills

• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards within a restaurant or hospitality setting
• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with food handling procedures and basic food preparation tasks is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues
• Basic understanding of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices
