Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff
• Clear and buss tables promptly to maintain cleanliness in dining areas
• Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, trays, and dishware safely according to kitchen health and safety standards
• Operate dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment responsibly and correctly
• Support sanitation efforts by cleaning workstations, floors, and storage areas regularly
• Follow all food safety management protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations

Skills

• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and kitchen health and safety standards
• Experience with dishwashing, cleaning, and basic kitchen operations
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting
• Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as commercial dishwashers
• Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization
• Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred, including banquet or catering backgrounds
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively
