Part-Time District Security

Part-Time School District Guard - Wednesday and Friday evenings from 3:00 pm to 9:30 pm.

Duties include:

• Standing watch/patrol over a specific area during an assigned shift to safeguard grounds and buildings
• Make security checks of gates, windows, doors, etc. to prevent unauthorized entry
• Directs parking of visitors' vehicles
• Must be able to deal courteously with the public
• Report incidents and suspicious activities to supervisors in accordance with company policies and procedures security guidelines

Qualifications:

• Candidates must possess a NYS Security Guard License and NYSED fingerprint clearance
• Active and retired law enforcement preferred

Skills:

• Proven working experience in law enforcement, a security guard or relevant position
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team member
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills

Pay: $25.50 per hour
