Part Time Dock Worker/Forklift Operator

We are hiring candidates for Part Time Warehouse positions. Ideal candidates should have experience within a parcel sort/shipping & receiving and/or pick and pack environment. This is a labour/production position.

The Work Site is not accessible by Public Transportation. A vehicle is REQUIRED.

Shift Days and Times:

Monday thru Friday

06:00 am to 10:30 am

The responsibilities are as follows:

Job Responsibilities:

• Sorting, loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving parcels and warehouse freight.
• Pick and pack items for shipping
• Put yourself and safety of other employees as a top priority
• Moving material to different locations within the warehouse facility
• Managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment
• Prepare vehicle inspection reports
• Picking, preparing and wrapping orders for shipping

Functional capabilities:

• Lift weight 50 to 70 lbs
• Operate an electric/manual pallet jack
• Operate a counterbalance forklift

Job requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of counter balance forklift experience
• Experience with a variety of forklifts is an asset
• Good communication skills
• Experience using RF Scanners
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Travel to work site REQUIRES personal vehicle
